Dr.NI Zhenhua received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a second Bachelor’sdegree in Applied Electrical Techniques from Shanghai Jiaotong University in2003, Ph.D. degree in Physics from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2007, and did his postdoctoral research in Department of Physics and Applied Physics at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) from 2007-2010. In 2009, hereceived the British Council “Researcher exchange programme Award” and workedas an academic visitor in Andre Geim’s (Nobel Laureate in Physics, 2010)research group in the University of Manchester. He has been a Professor inPhysics Department at Southeast University since May, 2010. His currentresearch interests include the fabrication, characterization, and applicationof graphene and other two dimensional materials. He has published more than 80 paperson peer-reviewed journals, including Nature Photonics, Nature Communications,Nano Letters, PRL, ACS Nano, and receiving over 4000 citations with H-index of28. He is currently the Editorial Board Member of international peer-review journals “Scientific Reports”, and “Frontiers in Condensed Matter Physics”.
The properties of graphene materials are strongly dependent on their thicknesses/layer numbers. In this talk, we will introduce some commonly used techniques for layer number determination of graphene materials, e.g. optical contrast, Raman spectroscopy.
CGIA supports members to focus on application and industry chain, to keep pace with market development, to guarantee industry interests by involving in policy making and establishing standards, and to build long-term cooperation with up-down stream enterprises all over the world.
