Chen Jun, a senior chief engineer and postdoctoral researcher, has long been engaged in the research, development, and industrial promotion of multifunctional rare earth additives for polymer materials, foaming, and modified plastics. He is primarily responsible for technological R&D and production management. His research has led to over 20 Chinese invention patent applications, more than 10 academic papers, and participation in the compilation of two monographs. As a project leader, he has successfully directed or completed major collaborative projects between Guangdong Province and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as other industry-academia-research projects. As a key contributor, he has participated in numerous national-level scientific projects, including the 11th and 12th Five-Year Plans' "863" Program, major industrial technology development initiatives by the National Development and Reform Commission, national science and technology support programs, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2015 industrial transformation and upgrading foundation projects. Additionally, he has led the industrialization of multiple corporate scientific achievements, generating significant economic and social benefits.

Study the chemical and physical changes that occur during the melt processing of graphene oxide (GO) enhanced and compatibilized polymer modified materials, and develop a new technology for large-scale preparation of GO modified polymer materials; Developing foam specific material technology using rare earth functional additives and (oxidized) graphene modification technology. Mastering the influence of rheological, crystallization, and melting behavior of modified polymer materials such as graphene oxide, rare earth functional additives, flame retardants, and conductive additives on the supercritical microcellular foaming behavior and cell structure of polymers, breaking through the key technology of new polymer supercritical fluid kettle pressure foaming, forming a complete set of technological innovation and integration of structural design formulation equipment process industrial application, conducting engineering demonstrations, and realizing the application of new polymer high-performance and functionalized polypropylene foaming materials in modern manufacturing industry.
