Large-scale production and application of graphene sheets remains highly challenging so far, given that their extraordinary properties and a wide range of applications, including composites, coatings, energy storage and so on. We here give our understanding to graphene production and polymer composites application. We propose fundamental assumptions that allow for production of high-quality graphene sheets and structural optimization of polymer composites. We expect that the exfoliated sheets can have good electrical properties and form stable dispersions. Also, we attempt to establish effective method that can construct structure-optimized polymer composites. Our results have revealed encouraging signals that facilitates practical applications of graphene-based composites.
