Yang Shubin received his Ph.D degree in Material Science and Engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, in 2008. Then, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow in Prof. Klaus Müllen group at Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Germany, during 2008-2011. And then he joined Prof. Pulickel M. Ajayan group at Rice University, USA, during 2011-2014.
Dr. Yang’s research is focused on ultrathin two-dimensional materials for energy storage and conversions including lithium ion batteries, supercapacitors and fuel cells. Dr. Yang is an author and co-author of over 50 refereed-journals (e.g. Nature Communications, Adv. Mater., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Adv. Fun. Mat., Sci. Rep.). Dr. Yang received the Youth “National Thousand Talents Program” in 2013.
