Dan Xie holds a PhD degree in microelectronics, and is currently anassociate professor in institute of microelectronics and Tsinghua NationalLaboratory for Information Science and Technology (TNList) of Tsinghua University.The main research interests are novel nanomaterials and device concepts,including two-dimensional and nanostructures fabrications and theirapplications in flexible transistors and circuits, photodetectors and gassensors. She participates and response for the National Natural Science Fundproject, 863 project, as well as significant subjects and internationalcooperation project for Ministry of science and technology. The research resultsare awarded the second prize of Natural Sciences Award for education Ministry, andshe published more than 100 SCI indexed papers and owned 13 authorized patents.
Recently,graphene has attracted great attention for numerous applications for future flexibleelectronics, owing to their unique properties such as exceptionally highelectronic conductivity, excellent transparency and mechanical strength. Inparticular, the recent progress in flexible graphene device research ishighlighted, which opens up a perspective to realize extremely flexible,stretchable, and transparent circuits.
Atpresent, a novel flexible graphene/P(VDF-TrFE) hybrid structural transistorshave been prepared based on the graphene field effect transistors (GFET). Thekey transfer technique from rigid silicon to flexible substrate has beenachieved at room-temperature (RT), which avoids the influence of hightemperature processes on flexible devices. The obtained flexible graphene/P(VDF-TrFE)transistor devices exhibit excellent non-volatile memory properties, uniformityand high stability under bending conditions, which provides a promisingcandidate for future flexible memory and system applications.
