Mr. Gu graduated from Changchun Geological Institute of China in 1985, with Bachelor degree of Science major in Geology. In Aug. 1985, he started working in geological exploration institute of Shougang Company (now under the name of Shougang Group), affiliated to Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of China. During the time, he completed project: Applied Research of Land Resources and Environment Survey in Beijing, Tianjin, Tangshan Region Using Satellite Images. This won Second Award of National Level for Science and Technology Progress, First Prize issued by Ministry Metallurgical Industry of China, and First Prize by Ministry of Geology. Working in mining development and investment for 30 years, Mr. Gu is experienced in mining equipment and rare metal research and development. He is also exploring geological and mining resources at home and abroad.

Abstract

China owns large resource of natural graphite, ranking first in its reserve, production and consumption. However, we are still in a position of exporting raw materials in low price while importing processed materials in high price. In recent years, with the discovering of graphene and development of new energy resources, natural graphite gains higher strategic position, and becomes the investing spot in the resource and financial industry.
