Bodil Ahlström was born in 1968. Bodil received her PhD in Physical Chemistry at Göteborg University, Sweden, in 2010. Since January 2014 she is employed as a Material specialist at National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (Nevs) in Trollhättan, Sweden and she is presently a member of Nevs’ R&D-program management team.
Bodil has an extensive research experience from both academia and the industrial sector. Her expertise is in material science with focus in particle systems, simulation methods and model development. Bodil has a broad R&D interest with an emphasis in bridging between research and application.
Bodil has teaching experience and has been supervisor and mentor to M.Sc. students and PhD students. She has published academic articles and conference presentations.

Abstract
National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (Nevs) [1], was founded with the determination to make a change for those around us and for coming generations. Nevs’ aim is to offer people a possibility to fulfill their mobility needs and at the same time make a change for a more sustainable and better future.
Nevs built on the proud legacy in Trollhättan, Sweden, of innovation, design and firm commitment to the environment, has thanks to its Chinese ownership a strong connection to China. National Modern Energy Holdings is Nevs’ main owner, others are Tianjin, SRIT and Teamsun.
We will present Nevs and our vision. We will address our company’s interest in new materials, here with a focus on graphene and graphene-based materials and how we actively work with this field within R&D.
