Abstract
In this presentation, the basic principle and the molecular simulation results of Liquid Crystal Behaviors of Graphene Oxide, Liquid Crystal Pickering Emulsions by promoting the localized alignment of GO nanosheets at the oil/water interfaces as well as the Pickering emulsions by promoting the localized pristine graphene nanosheets via graphite at the water/oil interfaces will be introduced first. The size tunable, hardness tunable Polymer Composite Foam (Polystyrene, PMMA and Polystyrene-co-Butyl methacrylate) has been prepared via the Pristine Graphene stabilized Pickering Emulsions. Several novel results of the assemblies and main application of these Pickering emulsions such as oil spill cleanup, oil sensing, pressure sensing, catalyst support, novel polymer composites and flexible capacitors will also be presented.
