Introduction：

Bio-sensors session, hosted by Prof. Jingquan Liu and Arben Merkoçi, attracted lots of famous scholars and experts from all over the world, like Spain, USA, and Australia, and has carried on a deep discussion on graphene applications in the field of bio-sensors. Arben Merkoçi, the professor of Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2), delivered an interesting lecture about “Graphene-Based Platforms for Sensing and Biosensing”. Junhong Chen, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, shared a lecture on Graphene-Based Nanomaterials for Versatile Biosensors. Li Niu, professor of Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, CAS, introduced the Functionalization and Applications of graphene. Prof. Jingquan Liu, Qingdao University, gave a speech of “Preparation, Commercialization and Application in Sensing of Graphene Nanomaterials”. Wenrong Yang, professor of Deakin University, gave an interesting lecture on “Molecularly Engineered Graphene Surfaces for Potential Bio-Applications”. There were also some oral reports like “In-situ Growth of Fe2O3 Nanoparticles on Highly Porous Graphene/Polyimide-Based Carbon Aerogel Hybrids for Selective Detection of Dopamine”, shared by Youfang Zhang, Fudan University, and so on.
