Introduction:

Building Materials, hosted by Prof. Dong Zhang and Wenhui Duan, attracted lots of famous scholars and experts, and has carried on a deep discussion on graphene applications in the field of Building Materials. Wenhui Duan, the professor of Monash University, delivered an interesting lecture about “Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure Materials–New Perspective from Emerging Nanomaterils”. Shenghua Lv, Shanxi University of Science & Technology, shared a lecture on “Effect of GO Nanosheets on Cement Hydration Crystals and Its Impact on the Mechanical Properties GO”. Sze Dai Pang, professor of National University of Singapore, introduced Going Small for Bigger Returns in Cement Composites. Prof. Dong Zhang, Shanghai JiaoTong University, gave a speech of “ Graphene Based Smart Materials for Civil Engineering Structures”. Xinli Guo, professor of Southeast University, showed us the “Au NPs/RGO Hybrid for High-Efficient Reduction of 4-Nitrophenol”. Luping Tang, professor of Chalmers University of Technology, showed us the “Development of Graphene-Enhanced Concrete for Building and Infrastructures”. There were also some oral reports like “Polyimide/Reduced Graphene Oxide/Montmorillonite Composite Aerogels with Enhanced Flame-retarded Performance”, shared by Lizeng Zuo, Fudan University, and so on.
