Introduction:

Due to the excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity and mechanical property, graphene is considered as ideal reinforced phase of metal matrix composites. Researches have shown that adding few graphene nanoplate can improve the tensile strength, hardness and wear resistance of composite materials. Metal matrix composites reinforced by graphene have great potential in the fields of aerospace, aviation, automobile, chemical industry and transportation industry and so on. This symposium will discuss the key technical problems on how to solve the wettability between graphene and metal, how to realize graphene nanoplate uniformly disperse in a metal matrix, and at the same time how to improve the mechanical properties, thermal and electrical properties, etc.
