Professor Qiu Jieshan, Dean of School of Chemical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, doctoral supervisor. He has successively won the honorary titles of the winner of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, State Council Expert for Special Allowance, Outstanding mid-aged experts, national "Hundreds and Thousands of Talents Project" candidate, national excellent chemical technology Worker and instructor of one hundred outstanding doctoral dissertations nationwide. 

Professor Qiu Jieshan is mainly engaged in the research of materials chemical industry, energy chemical industry, etc., focusing on the organic integration of "production, study, research and application". His research work has been funded by famous international companies such as Bayer of Germany, Alcan of Switzerland, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation of Japan, Hong Kong and China Gas Co., Ltd., and the results have been applied or promoted for industrialization in Zhejiang, Anhui and other places.

He has published more than 800 papers in academic journals such as Nature Mater., and his papers have been cited more than 35,000 times by SCI, h factor 92 (web of sci.); he has applied for and authorized more than 140 invention patents. He has also received more than 20 awards and commendations, such as the First Prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education, the First Prize of Natural Science of Liaoning Province, and the First Prize of Natural Science of the Chinese Particle Society.

 2018 -2021, he was continuously selected as one of Clarivate’s Highly Cited Scientists in Safety Ball;  2019 - 2020, he was continuously selected as the “China Highly Cited Scholar” in the field of Elsevier chemical engineering. Now, Professor Qiujieshan is the vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Micron and Nanotechnology, the vice chairman of the Presidium of the Advanced Materials Society of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the chairman of the Chemical Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Chemical Engineering.Similarly, he is also a member of the editorial board of more than 20 publications, such as the associate editor of Chinese Journal of Chemical Industry and Engineering, Chem. Eng. Sci., etc.
