Dr. Rezal was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of NanoMalaysia in June 2012 and subsequently as Chief Executive Officer in February 2013.He holds a PhD in Nanotechnology, Electronic/Electrical Engineering from London Centre for Nanotechnology and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tenaga Nasional University.Between August 2012 and February 2013, Dr. Rezal served as Acting Under Secretary of National Nanotechnology Directorate, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. Currently, he is under secondment from Khazanah Nasional, an investment arm of the Government of Malaysia of which he holds the position of Vice President at Strategic Human Capital Management Division. Dr. Rezal is also assumed the post of Manager at GEMS Sdn. Bhd.
