Introduction：Lithium-ion Battery, hosted by Prof. Vittorio Pellegrini and Zhaoping Liu, attracted a large amount of famous scholars and experts from all over the world, and has carried on a deep discussion on graphene applications in the field of Lithium-ion Battery. Prof. Vittorio Pellegrini, Italian Institute of Technology, shared an interesting lecture about “Graphene and Other 2d Crystals for Energy Devices”. Yan Yu, University of Science and Technology of China, delivered a lecture of Graphene-Based Composites as Advanced Electrodes for Energy Storage. Ting Yu, from Nanyang Technology University, introduced Chemical Strategies toward Functionalized Graphene with High-Performance for Li-ion Batteries. Prof. Liqiang Mai, Wuhan University of Technology, gave a speech of “Graphene-Enabled Nanowire Devices for Electrochemical Energy Storage”. Le Su, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Ltd., gave an interesting lecture on “Ex-situ and in Situ Characterization of Li-ion Batteries Using Raman Imaging”. Zhaoping Liu, Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology & Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, showed a talk about “Graphene-Based Electrode Materials for High-Performance Batteries”. Guihua Yu, University of Texas at Austin, shared a lecture of “Graphene/Inorganic Hybrid Two-Dimensional Materials for Advanced Energy Storage Devices”. Renzhi Ma, International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA) National, Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), gave an interesting talk on “Molecular Hybridization of Graphene and Transition Metal Hydroxide Nanosheets for Electrochemical Applications”. There were also some other letures like “Binder-Free Graphene-Based Anode for Li-ion Battery”, shared by Haiyan Sun, Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), “ Graphene Conductive Paste for Lithium-ion Batteries”, shared by Jiangbin Hong, Xiamen Knano Graphene Technology Corporation Limited, and “Industrial Production of Graphene Material and Applications in Li-ion Power Batteries”, shared by Xin Chen, Shandong Yuhuang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
