Supercapacitor, hosted by Prof. Quanhong Yang and Pedro Gómez-Romero, attracted lots of famous scholars and experts from all over the world. Prof. Pedro Gómez-Romero, Catalan Institute of Nanoscience Nanotechnology (ICN2), shared an interesting lecture about “Spicing Graphene with Electroactive Inorganic Compounds: Graphene Hybrid Nanocomposites for Energy Storage”. X.S. (George) Zhao, University of Queensland, delivered a lecture of Graphene-Based Electrodes for Supercapacitors. Hirotomo Nishihara, professor of Tohoku University, introduced Zeolite-Templated Carbons for Supercapacitors. Prof. Quanhong Yang, professor of Tianjin University, gave a speech of “Why Graphene Makes Energy Storage Devices More Compact”. Xue-Bin Wang, professor of International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA), and National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), gave an interesting lecture on “3D Strutted-Graphenes and Their High-Power Supercapacitors”. Zhuangjun Fan, Harbin Engineering University, shared a lecture of “Graphene Based Materials for High Performance Supercapacitor”. There were also some oral reports like “Graphene-Based Materials for Supercapacitors and Micro-Supercapacitors”, shared by Zhongshuai Wu, from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), CAS, and so on.
