Andre Geim,Regius Professor of Physics; Royal Society Research Professor; Director, Centre for Mesoscience & Nanotechnology, University of Manchester.  In his speech, Graphene is described as being impermeable to gases and liquids, but for subatomic particles such as protons and electrons, graphene can be passed. In addition, the graphene Institute also studied black phosphorus, sulfide and other two-dimensional materials, focused on the electronic properties of these substances and the use of different methods of modification of these materials.
