Machinery is anindispensable basic construction equipment for all kinds of infrastructure,municipal, transportation, metallurgy, mining and port construction, andmechanical products have very strict requirements on the lubrication conditionsof various components. In recent years, the demand for lubricants in China hasbeen increasing, exceeding 5 million tons. It is expected that the demand willdouble in the next five years (until 2023), but high-quality lubricants stillrely on imports. As an emerging nanomaterial, graphene has good lubricity,thermal conductivity, etc. After adding lubricating oil, it will greatlyimprove the extreme pressure abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance andthermal conductivity of traditional greases.

In order to improve the quality of China's mechanical lubricants, meet the needs of innovation and development of the machinery industry, enhance the market competitiveness of the traditional machinery industry, and build a platform for exchange and cooperation between graphene and machinery industry, CGIA will hold"The Graphene Lubricant Machinery Industry Application Innovation Forum" during the "2018' International Graphene Innovation Conference".  The forum will take the form of “special report + interactive seminar”.
