Emerging industry promotes economic solid growth, graphene industry chain indicates a bright prospect

On July 25, 2015, CCTV detailed reported on “emerging industry plays the leading role in Chongqing”. It emphasized that Chongqing is energetically developing strategic emerging industry, including grapheneindustry under the background of the economic downward pressure and realizing asteady healthy economic growth.
This report pointed out that, in March of thisyear, the world’s first mass-produced graphene phone was released in Chongqing.Based on the plan, the whole graphene industry chain will be completed withinthe next 3-5 years, which will bring 30 billion CNY output value to Chongqing.In the first half of this year, total output from Chongqing emerging strategicindustry increased 15%, constantly increasing the contribution to economy.Visibly, the prospect of graphene industry is bright, and will have greatinfluence on the whole social economy.
It is acknowledged that, since graphene preparedin laboratory in 2004, after more than ten years development of technology,graphene has entered a new high-speed development period. The application ofthe relative products will be realized step by step along with the improvementof graphene production capacity and the upgrade of material technology.
Introduced by China Innovation Alliance of theGraphene Industry (CGIA), “solutions for commercialization of graphene” hasbecome the hot issue of the industrial development. So the alliance isorganizing a conference with this problem as the theme.
Graphene industry, not only getting attention ofChina's most authoritative official media but also the most authoritativeindustrial organization, is believed that it will develop better to drive theincreasing of local and global economy.
